I had the privilege to use some time off in between jobs end of last year to travel around the US. I particularly liked the flair and the atmosphere of NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana). It was not about the spirits (in both ways) of Bourbon St. and the nightlife, it was more about the great food, the old buildings and the music. I have put together some images I have shot in the city during a 2 days stay – for me it definitely captures the moments I had.
Unfortunately I cannot transfer the taste of charcoal grilled oysters, gumbo and the sandwiches – have taken away some recipes, so maybe I will share later.
